Introduction to our ballistic material Invicta

Invicta ™ is a extremely strong human made fiber that provides maximum strength with minimal weight. This means that the number of possible applications is virtually unlimited.

For military, law enforcement and other agencies in high-risk environments; Invicta ™ technology-based bulletproof products raise the level of what's possible. It provides maximum protection in a lighter, more flexible solution that improves comfort, mobility and efficiency across all levels of protection (NIJ 0101.06, EN 1522, VPAM).

Invicta ™ is manufactured in a spinning process where the fibres are pulled, heated, elongated and then cooled. Stretching and spinning lead to a molecular linear adjustment, high crystallization and low density. Through this High Tec production method Invicta ™ has extremely long molecular chains that transfer the load more efficiently to the polymer backbone than all other fibres. That way it is stronger with the same weight or lighter with the same strength than other alternatives that exist today. These options are often Aramid-based products, such as Kevlar or Twaron. At the same time, the material possesses a number of other valuable properties.

No penetration or small back face trauma. These examples are tested according to the standards and requirements set in NIJ STANDARD-0101.06. We do also posess tests and can perform tests in a various of other standards for different parts of the globe. Our capability to stop projectiles are not limited to these examples. We have also products that can stop 12.7 ball ammo (.50 Cal).

This particular bullet was extracted from the NIJ IV example above. Our stand alone body plates have been known to stop up to six shots of 7.62 armour piercing incindiary rounds.

OTHER APPLICATIONS

Invicta is a super strong and versitile fibre.

As offshore exploration and production move into increasingly deeper water, the need for higher capacity lifting, lowering, and mooring becomes more prevalent. Our partner in Taiwan have manufactured rope since 1981 and are now using Invicta to create some of the sptrongest ropes and nets ever seen. We meet the ISO 9001 Standards and are certified by ABS, DNV CE, Lloyds and others. The Annual production capacity of 150 tons facilitates short lead times and realiability.
